Agrivoltaic System Optimization for Sustainable Farming in Taşarası, Türkiye

Agrivoltaic systems (AgriPV) combine agricultural production with photovoltaic electricity generation on the same land, improving land-use efficiency while supporting sustainable food and energy systems. In Mediterranean regions where solar radiation levels are high and agricultural lands are under increasing pressure from climate change and land scarcity, AgriPV offers significant opportunities to improve resource efficiency within the Water–Energy–Food–Ecosystem (WEFE) nexus.
