Short Description

The demonstration case is located in the Middle Jordan Valley- Deir-Alla research station which belongs to NARC. The infrastructure of the green house is available. A small or demo pilot for Aquaponic accompanied with insect farming will be tested with the help of Aquaponik Manufaktur and expanded further on after full testing and analysis.

Target Stakeholders

Small-Medium holder farmers, Water user associations, Technical and extension team, other NGOs and projects working in the area and the decision makers.

Main Goal

The main goal is to contribute to reducing the pressure on WEFE resources and to improving livelihoods, food and nutrition security, job creation, & entrepreneurship through the implementation of Frontier agriculture.
